Energy Engineer
Commercial/Industrial Engineering Team
The Washington State University (WSU) Energy Program has one or more openings for
entry-level or intermediate-level engineering/technical staff to assist with commercial and
industrial energy efficiency projects and programs.
The duties of this position(s) are expected to include performing fieldwork and technical
assistance on various aspects of energy efficiency in commercial, institutional and
industrial facilities. Work may include one-on-one technical consultations, on-site data
collection to support assessments of facilities and their key energy systems, engineering
analysis and energy performance assessment of whole facility and key energy system
for possible implementation of combined heat and power or bioenergy system
implementation as well as energy efficiency measures, publication development and
conducting training for a professional audience. Work in this area is typically a mix of
independent client support and team-based project execution.

Energy Program Coordinator
Building Science and Standards Team
The Washington State University (WSU) Energy Program has one or more openings for
its building science and standards team.
The duties of this position(s) are expected to include performing fieldwork, technical
assistance and applied research on various aspects of energy efficiency in residential
buildings. Work may include one-on-one technical consultations, on-site assessments of
facilities in the Pacific Northwest and Canada, publication development, report writing,
and acting as a member of the WSU Energy Program’s Technical Staff in responding to
client inquiries on a broad range of technologies and practices.

Energy Project Analyst
The Washington State University Energy Program has one or more openings in Olympia, WA for an Energy Project Analyst to assist with home weatherization efforts for the State of Washington, performance evaluation and support for weatherization programs and other analytical needs. This position will support senior analysts in the collection and analysis of program data, and it will assist in conducting performance assessments and in the development of recommendations for improvements and enhancements to existing efforts.
