Energy Tips links Washington State residents to practical information from reliable sources about saving energy on heating and cooling, appliances and equipment, insulation, lighting, windows, and transportation.

Ask an energy question

The EERE Information Center answers questions on products, services and eleven technology programs supported by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, directs callers to the most appropriate EERE resources, and refers qualified callers to the appropriate expert networks. The Energy Services Clearinghouse serves commercial and industrial customers of the Western Area Power Administration in 15 Western states. Call 1-800-769-3756, or send an email to powerline@energy.wsu.edu.

The Washington State University Extension Energy Program library offers free, customized answers to questions about residential energy efficiency and conservation to anyone who lives in Washington State. Call the library at 360-956-2076, or email your question to library@energy.wsu.edu.
