Pacific Northwest Extension Energy Initiative

Rising energy costs, supply alternatives and new opportunities make energy a timely topic for many Pacific Northwest Extension customers. Through a partnership of Extension in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska, along with the National Association of State Universities and Land Grant Colleges, a pilot project known as the "Pacific Northwest Extension Energy Initiative" took place. The pilot project was part of a national effort employing Extension as a delivery tool for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.

An outgrowth of the pilot project is a website that provides a list of energy resources for Extension agents.
