"The average growth rate for all occupations is seven percent, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. But for wind turbine technicians? It’s 108 percent. That means the amount of men and women employed fixing and maintaining wind towers will more than double between 2014 and 2024. There’s no denying it– wind techs are in demand."

Energy Efficiency Jobs in America: A Comprehensive Analysis of Energy Efficiency Employment Across All 50 states

"This analysis finds that most energy efficiency workers are at small companies with 25 or fewer employees. Forty percent of energy efficiency companies focus on installation, while another 26 percent are in trade and distribution. The remaining firms are in professional services, engineering and research, and other categories. The majority say they depend on the energy efficiency market for at least half of their revenue."
